Roseanne Cash criticized the use of her late father Johnny Cash's name in connection with support for a U.S. presidential candidate. Country singer John Rich suggested that Cash would have supported Republican candidate John McCain. Roseanne Cash called such a claim presumptuous and said that even she would not presume to publicly state what her father actually felt or thought.
