- Representatives of Welsh singer Tom Jones denied British reports that the 71-year-old singer had suffered a heart attack or other heart problems, saying that he was only dehydrated. Jones had to cancel his evening concert at the Salle des Etoiles in Monaco, which was to have been the final date of his demanding three-month “Praise & Blame” tour.
